the Divine Paradox

There are things about the gospel of Jesus Christ I don't completely understand.

There are areas of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I don't have a full testimony of.

But there is one principle that I know to my core.

It comes from one of my favorite quotes:

“Only when you lift a burden, God will lift your burden. Divine paradox this! The man who staggers and falls because his burden is too great can lighten that burden by taking on the weight of another’s burden. You get by giving, but your part of giving must be given first.”

- Spencer W. Kimball

I know this is true!

Anytime life has felt heavy if I've looked outside of myself, my burden has always felt lighter.

I am certain God was very deliberate in setting things up like this. We need each other.

I love this!
